Heerenveen is well-known because of Sportstad Heerenveen [Sport City Heerenveen] a modern, multifunctional centre. It provides a large, varied and constantly changing range of sports, lifestyle, health and relaxation. Alongside Sportstad Heerenveen, the town is also home to the football club Heerenveen's Abe Lenstra stadium.

Golden Tulip Tjaarda Oranjewoud has a good reputation among sportsmen and women in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. We have been successfully providing sports lunches, meals, relaxation rooms and facilitating training camps for years.

We know it is important:
