Walking and cycling in Friesland

We can tell you exactly which routes are beautiful for walking or cycling. There are some fabulous routes in and around Oranjewoud and Heerenveen, but also elsewhere. The walking routes were drawn up by Staatsbosbeheer [Dutch National Forestry Service], the cycling routes by the VVV [tourist information office] and the ANWB [Dutch Automobile Association]. Stately home routes, lake routes, woodland routes, cultural routes: there is something for everyone.
